Robert J. Reynolds

Mr. Reynolds focuses his practice in general civil litigation and trial work, with an emphasis on personal injury matters. Mr. Reynolds also handles the defense of liability matters including insurance claim coverage, investigation, and litigation, as well as general commercial and business litigation.

He obtained his B.S. degree in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Redlands in May of 1984, and his law degree (J.D.), cum laude, from Trinity International University School of Law, Simon Greenleaf School of Law in May of 1990. He was admitted to the California Bar in December of 1990.

Professionally, he was employed at Redlands Federal Bank (1984-1991) as the compliance officer to ensure the bank’s compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. He also coordinated the examination process as required by the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Following graduation from law school, he practiced law from 1991-1993 as a partner in a civil litigation firm where he specialized in litigation concerning business disputes, contracts, and real property.

Subsequently, he became a member of the National Staff Counsel office of the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies from 1993-1996, where he handled the defense of all types of liability claims and litigation under homeowner’s, automobile, and commercial policies.

Since 1996 he has managed his own practice in San Diego County while continuing to litigate cases in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange and Imperial Counties.

Shelby A. West

Mr. West obtained his B.S. degree in general studies with an emphasis in business law from the University of Michigan. He also studied art and culture at the University of Florence in Italy.

He went on to graduate Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. In addition to earning his JD in general legal principles, he received training in international law from Peking University, Beijing China.

Mr. West participates in numerous business events in San Diego, is a member of the California State Bar, and is currently practicing in the area of general civil litigation.
